Forensic nursing is a specialized field that combines the principles of nursing with the application of forensic science. This unique branch of nursing focuses on providing care to individuals who have experienced trauma, violence, abuse, or other criminal activities. Forensic nurses play a critical role in collecting evidence, documenting injuries, providing medical treatment, and supporting the legal process. This clinical practice guide aims to provide a comprehensive overview of forensic nursing, covering various aspects of its practice. The guide begins by discussing the fundamental concepts and principles of forensic nursing, including the legal and ethical considerations that govern this field.
