Forensic nursing is a dynamic and multidisciplinary professional discipline that bridges the gap between the realms of medicine and the justice system. It encompasses a diverse range of specialized skills and knowledge that enable forensic nurses to provide critical support and expertise in the investigation and resolution of complex legal cases involving victims, perpetrators, and communities. It provide a concise overview of the essential components of forensic nursing, exploring its fundamental principles, roles, and responsibilities. Forensic nurses serve as invaluable members of the healthcare team, assisting in the identification and documentation of injuries, collecting evidence, and conducting thorough examinations of victims of violence, abuse, or criminal acts. Moreover, forensic nursing extends beyond direct patient care, encompassing expert testimony in court proceedings, collaboration with law enforcement agencies, and educational initiatives for both medical professionals and the general public.
