On People Who are Admitted to the Hospital with a Diagnosis of Asthma Exacerbation, Confirmatory Spirometry Should be Done

Spirometry is a pivotal tool in the objective evaluation of tailwind restriction in the opinion of asthma. The viability and utility of spirometry to confirm the opinion of asthma or habitual obstructive pulmonary complaint (COPD) during exacerbations remain unknown.
