This editorial article highlights the importance of revitalizing wheat crops through sustainable agricultural practices, technological innovations, and international collaboration. Climate change impacts, including rising temperatures and irregular rainfall, are negatively affecting wheat production. Therefore, adopting sustainable agricultural practices such as precision farming and integrated pest management is crucial to mitigate these effects. Technological innovations, including genetic advancements and precision agriculture tools, offer potential for enhancing wheat yields and adapting to changing climate conditions. Empowering farmers, particularly small-scale ones, and promoting collaboration among governments, research institutions, and international organizations are essential for the revitalization of wheat crops. Diversification and promoting alternative grains can also alleviate pressure on wheat crops. This article emphasizes the significance of collective action and the need to secure the future of wheat crops to ensure food security and the well-being of global populations.
