HPV is the leading cause of sexually transmitted infections worldwide and is responsible for a substantial burden of diseases, including cervical cancer, other anogenital cancers, and oropharyngeal cancers. This abstract provides an overview of HPV, its epidemiology, transmission, clinical manifestations, prevention strategies, and the impact of HPV vaccination. It highlights the importance of HPV as a major public health concern and underscores the significance of ongoing research and efforts to combat its associated diseases.
